A few things for you to bear in mind before we get to the nitty gritty,
The images on the website will differ to the beef you receive. Due to the nature of how we rear the animals you get a very normal inconsistency with the meat more so it’s visual appearance than it’s taste.

Weights will vary as everything is done by hand and sometimes cuts such as the liver may be supplied differently to how they were in a previous order.

Any general advice and instructions given by us in relation to our products has been written as guidance only to help you get the most out of the meat. Please note that we accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury arising as a result of the information provided.

You are responsible for opening, checking and storing your delivery from us. We do not recommend goods are left outside following delivery. It is down to you to ensure all goods are properly stored, prepared, and cooked.

We only supply the goods for domestic and private use. If you use the goods for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

If you want to change your order, please contact us as soon as possible on hello@wildandrootedfarming.co.uk.

You must make the changes before 9pm on a Wednesday and are subject to availability. To make things simple for everyone we would just cancel and refund your original order and ask you to make a new order including your amendments.

Christmas orders
Please note that you will not be able to cancel or change your order after the 12th of December of that same year.

Delivery
We always deliver on a Friday– whether that’s by us (locally) or a courier. If you, or somebody else isn’t at the delivery address supplied then the courier will find a suitable place to leave your goods. It is your responsibility to provide a ‘safe location’ to leave your package if you aren’t able to be there to take delivery. Ideally the items will need to go straight into the freezer or a fridge so we’d strongly suggest that there is someone there to receive the parcel. We cannot accept liability for damaged or perished goods if they were unable to be delivered during our delivery attempt. If you fail to rearrange the redelivery – or the goods have already perished before you do, you will still be charged for the meat and the delivery costs. In no circumstance will you be entitled to a refund in respect of goods which we have been unable to deliver at the initial delivery and any further re-delivery attempts.

Collection
If you select the option to collect your order you can come to the farm any time between 10am and 12noon. The meat will be frozen so please bring a cool box if, for example, it’s a warm day or you know it’ll be a couple of hours before you get it to a fridge or freezer. We can accommodate a collection at other times of the week – subject to availability and prior arrangement. But, as we’re sure you will understand, we are a working farm and running it takes priority when it comes to our time.

Refunds
As most of our goods contain fresh and perishable food, you may not be entitled to the "normal" right to change your mind within 14 days after the day you receive them. One of the reasons for this is because the food is likely to have a best before date within only a few days of delivery of the goods.
