Tongue
We have a South African friend who suggested that we should sell Beef Tongue, something he ate a lot of back home. He raves about how it’s delicious boiled, marinated and then sliced in a sandwich.
The Abattoir we use to slaughter our beef animals cannot guarantee that the tongue they send back came from one of our animals. We nearly took the cut out of our offering because of that fact. However, we feel it’s important that as much as possible of any animal killed for meat is then consumed rather than wasted.

Please note
All of our beef is frozen as soon as possible to preserve freshness. If you opt for a courier delivery; steaks, burgers and other smaller items may arrive partially thawed – it’s perfectly safe to put them back in the freezer for another day or, or defrost them slowly in the fridge and eat within a two days. Ensure your beef is at room temperature before cooking.
